Johnson & Janet Adelaja

Bill met Johnson in 2010, while teaching Wesleyan discipleship with John Musselman in Lagos, Nigeria at the West African Theological Seminary. They spent many late nights getting to know Johnson and his dream to grow his discipleship ministry at Cross Victory Church in N.E. Nigeria. As of July 2022, Cross Victory has planted key discipleship leaders in 12 separate villages as much as two hours apart. They have outreaches four times a year with food, medicine, and clothing for Muslim nomads.  These outreaches culminate with an evangelism night on Saturday. In the past five years over 1100 people have accepted Jesus as their Savior. They are then placed in a discipleship group to create a solid foundation for their growing faith. All 12 of Johnson‘s leadership team are products of this committed strategy.
