Katie Garrison

Katie officially joined Narrow Gate staff in June 2021 after supporting the team as a contract worker.  Prior to this, she served as Disciple Life Coordinator at Mount Pisgah UMC for three years.  Katie was born in Colorado but moved to Georgia as a baby and loves calling Johns Creek her home.  She grew up in the church and feels blessed to serve and participate in disciple-making and foster care ministries.  She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Social Work.  Katie came to ministry work after working in social work with foster care and adoption for multiple agencies and organizations and being a foster and adoptive parent.

Katie and her husband, Graham, have three children—Nicholas, Nolan, and Vera Kate—who keep her very busy and always on her toes.  In her spare time (what is that??), she enjoys reading and listening to audiobooks and spending time with her family and friends.
