Mark Danzey

Mark and Tammy Danzey, along with Bill and Paula formalized Narrow Gate as a 501(c)3 in 2014. 

Mark is passionate about Making Disciples and joined Narrow Gate as Executive Director on August 1, 2020. Mark is a native of Miami, FL, but he has called Johns Creek, GA home for the last 15 years. Mark and Tammy have been married since 2003, have four grown children and two prized grandchildren. 

Mark holds a Masters in Pastoral Ministry from Erskine Theological Seminary and has served as pastor in four different United Methodist churches as an Ordained Deacon since 1993. He is also a certified pastoral process addiction counselor, a registered domestic/divorce mediator and a certified professional life coach. As a disciple maker, Mark leads multiple discipleship groups per week, and has taught disciple-making throughout the U.S. and several international countries including: Russia, Spain, Poland and Central America.
